QSC Q-SYS is a family of enterprise touch screen and mounting systems designed for a variety of office environments and locations. We focused on creating a unified suite of devices that look seamless in a corporate setting. To minimize perceived thickness in high-visibility architectural spaces, we implemented deep rear chamfers and wrapped the display glass in a glossy plastic to create the effect of an wrap-around glass display. The back of the device is housed in a cast aluminum chassis with a custom dot-matrix texture that establishes a brand signature detail, conceals molding variations, and optimizes thermal heat dissipation. The result is a premium series of devices where every element, down to the vents that double as status-LEDs, is considered for it's functional utility and aesthetics.
