A series of lens systems and accessories that revolutionized the mobile photography industry.

Olloclip is the premier mobile photography brand, developing lenses and accessories that helped inspire the mobile photography boom, while being promoted and sold directly through the Apple stores. During Olloclip's rapid growth era from 2013 to 2017, we drove the hardware's evolution from a scrappy Kickstarter accessory into a mature, globally recognized mobile photography ecosystem. The ultimate challenge was engineering completely blind; because Apple kept upcoming iPhone specs secret, we designed multiple parallel product tracks based entirely on market rumors to guarantee zero-tolerance optical alignment available upon the phones release. Despite these high-stakes timelines, we successfully scaled the roadmap from the core lens clips into an integrated lineup of cases, wearables, and accessories featured in Apple Stores worldwide.

HUBLESS GRIP

The Olloclip Hubless Grip was an articulating handle designed to allow the user to get smooth video shots at angles difficult to achieve by hand.. The articulating phone mount with hubless center provided an improved grip and a unique identifiable design. A 1/4-20 threaded mount on top was designed for additional attachments including microphones and lighting.

2ND GEN OLLOCLIP WITH CASE

The second generation Olloclip was designed to work with and without a case. By designing a removable insert on the inside of the clip, the user could easily switch between case and caseless lifestyle without needing to permanently affix anything to the phone.
