The JL Audio AP amplifier line is designed to pack high-output power into a compact footprint rugged enough for extreme marine and powersports environments. We developed the cast aluminum body to act as structural armor, designing heavy-duty side panels that double as impact shields and thermal heatsinks. The front-facing interface features a prominent protective shield surrounding an oversized dot-matrix display, with tactile controls scaled specifically for wet, muddy, or gloved hands. The details focus around real-world utility, from recessed cable paths that shield connectors from shear forces to installer-friendly mounting feet that protect the premium finish during installation.

A protective trim shields the display from impact, framing the oversized controls built for reliable operation in wet or gloved conditions. The design features a shelf that extends outward from the speaker, allowing the use to charge Airpods or any other wireless charging device. The device is connected to the Alogic app, allowing it to display the charge state of the Airpods on the front-facing LED bar.
